The NON-FICTITIOUS FICTIONAL land of DOREMONIA.


In the land of DOREMONIA, there lived three communities. Gian, Sunio and Nobitha.

Gian was a powerful community. Not very smart, but powerful.
Sunio was a rich, civilized, educated and clever community. 
Nobitha was a poor, uneducated, uncivilized & ignorant community.

Gianians and Sunions were close allies. Not that they liked each other, but because they benefited from each other. They both owned the lion's share of wealth and power. Whereas Nobithians barely had any power or wealth. Most of them did menial works to make ends meet.

Nobithians had an inferiority complex. They viewed Gian and Sunio with admirance and even felt jealous of what they posessed. Gianians and Sunions on the other hand viewed Nobithians with despise. 

Good and bad people existed in equal proportion in all the three communities. However, Gian and Sunio were able to dilute their wrongdoings as they had administration in their fingertips & were well aware of the loopholes within the system. But whenever Nobithians committed a wrong, they were punished. Sometimes the guilty would be punished, and sometimes due to pressure from Gian and sunio, administrators were forced to punish an innocent Nobithian for the wrong done by some other Nobithian. 

This system enraged some young Nobithians. They thought violence is the only solution to stop this. The elderly Nobithians adviced the young Nobithians, not to take any unwise steps, as there will be repercussions. Rather the elderly wise Nobithians said, educate yourself and enter the administration system and help your fellow Nobithians against the injustice that they face. A few youngsters listened to their elders, a few didn't.

The good people among Gian and Sunio who were compassionate, understood the pains of Nobithians. So they would support the Nobithians. But when some of the evil Gianians and Sunions saw that some of their own are helping Nobithians and that Nobithians are gaining a share of wealth and power they couldn't take it. They did everything they can to abuse them and suppress them.

And this lead to a lot of conflicts between them. Innocent blood of Gian and Sunio was shed by the angry foolish Nobithians to gain what they deemed as their right. These murders further became a premise for the leaders of Gianians and Sunions to suppress Nobithians even more.

Haven't the people of Doremonia learnt nothing from history? Will the powerful ever understand their responsibility of supporting the weak? Will the weak ever understand the consequences of foolhardily revolting against the powerful? Is there a solution to this problem of Doremonia? Or is it just the way God has decided to test Humankind? Both of them have a justification for their wrongdoing. Will there ever be PEACE in Doremonia? Perhaps, all lands & societies are like the non-fictitious fictional land of Doremonia.

Even we can save 2 LIVES

While having small talk at dinner in a messy mess with one of my male colleagues during my Post MBBS Government service, I asked him as to which subject he's interested in doing his PG [1] in? He said "OBG"! [2] And I was like, "Why?" with an expression on my face saying 'what's wrong with you?' Because all that I have,  is PTSD [3] from OBG. It's not the subject itself, as I liked to read it.(Thanks to a very good teacher we had in our UG college & Marrow's Dr. Sakshi Arora [4] ). Nor was it the hectic duties during internship (as we had some good PGs who were good to work with). But it was the labor ward which was in and of itself a war zone!!!  Lots of women shouting for lots of things!!! BE THAT BOOT LICKER

It was during my internship time in 2020.  There was some friction between a particular teacher and our batch. The context of conflict being, a redundant punishment some of my batchmates got for a minor mistake that they did. It was like what you say -  killing a fly with a canon.I wouldn't go into the details of this.  Anyways, the batch decided to take this matter seriously. The way our batchmates were treated was completely unfair. I don't intend to demonise that teacher by writing this blog. But there's a lesson I learnt from the sequence of events that unfolded after this issue, which I am trying to share. I highly respect this particular teacher, but none of us are saints! So we planned to approach the Director of the institute who was indubitably 'Student friendly'. And somehow we managed to take advantage of it as well, I would say.
